How to choose from thousands of frames and four lens index tiers: the higher your prescription, the higher the index you need; frame material determines weight, comfort, and price. Reference prices for each lens tier and common frame materials included.
Lens Index Comparison
The higher the index, the thinner and lighter the lenses, but the higher the price. Higher prescriptions need a higher index; for low prescriptions, 1.56 or 1.60 is sufficient — don't overpay for a higher index you don't need.

Frame Material Comparison
Frame material determines weight, comfort, durability, and price. From budget-friendly alloys and TR90 to lightweight, hypoallergenic pure titanium — choose based on your budget and wearing needs.
Acetate
Classic and durable, with a wide range of colors and patterns. Heavier than metal but very sturdy. Best for medium to large face shapes. Reference price: USD 7.45–29.80 （RMB 50–200）.
Metal Alloy
Lightweight and affordable, with good flexibility. The most common material for budget frames. May cause skin irritation for those allergic to nickel. Reference price: USD 4.47–14.90 （RMB 30–100）.
Pure Titanium
Ultra-light, hypoallergenic, and corrosion-resistant. A premium choice for all-day comfort. Reference price: USD 22.35–59.60 （RMB 150–400）.
Beta Titanium (β-Titanium)

TR90 (Memory Plastic)
